IslandJohn is a part-time independent developer. IslandJohn.com started as a small blog about random subjects, and a place to display minor open source projects. It was transformed into a business entity in early 2010 for the purpose of publishing an iPhone game on the App Store. The site contains all IslandJohn software, and is the central repository for blog posts on technology, and other topics. The self-designed logo was composited of several dingbats, some heavily modified, using PhotoShop. The goal was to evoke an art-deco feel with a technology overlay.
